Full description
Position Overview:
-Board-certified Family Medicine Physician needed for a high-volume, multidisciplinary practice specializing in workers? compensation and no-fault/lien cases.
-No major medical insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid involvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive physical exams, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions across the lifespan, focusing on preventive care and long-term health management (e.g., hypertension, diabetes, pediatric/adolescent health, and geriatric care).
- Perform detailed injury evaluations, progress assessments, and impairment ratings for workers? compensation and no-fault patients.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, EKGs, X-rays, etc.).
- Develop evidence-based treatment plans; coordinate with physical therapy, orthopedics, and pain management.
- Complete thorough, timely narrative reports and forms (C-4, MG-2, etc.) for WCB and no-fault claims.
- Work weekends as required; flexible scheduling.
