Estimated Weekly Salary- Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $1990 - $2130

- Setting: High Acuity Intensive Care Unit (8 beds)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/8/2025 – End: 3/9/2026)
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00pm – 7:00am), rotating weekends and holidays
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) position
- Charting System: Epic EMR
- Dress Code: Scrubs (any color); OSF-approved t-shirts permitted
- Active Illinois RN license (or proof of application in process)
- Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience required
- BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)
- Experience with PEG tube care/feedings, CVC/PICC/Midline usage and care, and tracheostomy patient care
- Proficient in managing sedated and ventilated patients, titrating vasopressors, sedation, and pain control drips
- Ability to interpret telemetry strips; experience with Phillips telemetry monitors is a plus
- Must pass a comprehensive drug screen (OSF is a Drug-Free Campus)
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit
- Manage and titrate a variety of IV drips, including Precedex, Propofol, Fentanyl, Versed, Lasix, Insulin, Amiodarone, Nitro, Levophed, Dopamine, Cardizem, and more
- Perform PEG tube care/feedings, manage central lines, and provide tracheostomy care
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including respiratory therapists and tele-health physicians
- Float to the Medical-Surgical unit as needed
- Participate in a rotating schedule for weekends and holidays
- Complete orientation and unit-specific training as required
