Full-time OB laborist; 24-hour shifts; permanent position in District of Columbia area (~1 hour from DC); hospital with ~1,200 births/year, NICU and pediatric hospitalists 24/7; remodeled OB department with C-section room, ER triage same floor, LDRs. - BE/BC in OB/GYN (ACOG)
- Experience as laborist or hospital-based OB desirable
- Ability to work 24-hour shift schedule
- Valid medical license for DC area
- Comfortable collaborating with CNMs and pediatric hospitalists
Full description
New program with OB laborist openings about an hour from DC. Full-time hospital employed 24 hour shifts with about 1200 births per year. NICU and fully staffed 24/7 with Pediatric Hospitalists on site who report to deliveries. Work with Nurse Midwives. Remodeled Department with C-section room room and ER triage on the same floor. LDR's. Must be BE/BC by ACOG. Three major airports within close proximity. Hospital employed with full benefits including sign on bonus, relocation, matching for retirement plans, etc.
