Seeking Family Medicine Physician to join our team in southwest Iowa. We offer comprehensive services in primary care, inpatient, outpatient observation, skilled care, specialty care, and rural health clinics.

• Hospital employed position
• Inpatient and Outpatient (Total of 18-20 patients per day)
• Avel eHospitalist utilized via telemedicine
• APPs cover ED 24/7. Backup call for ER provided by eAvel Emergency Telemedicine. On-call Hospitalist services for inpatients provided by eAvel Hospitalist Telemedicine. Family physicians take limited calls from Hospitalist if needed to consult on patient or to advise on pediatric patients. Otherwise, family physicians are not on call after hours, weekends, or holidays.
• AM hospital rounding
• 10-hour shifts, 4-day work week (Clinic hours 7-5, M-Thurs and 7-4:30 on Friday). Another option is 12-hour shifts, 3-day work week.
• One day a week provider will see walk-ins starting at 7am in the clinic.
• Opportunity to take extra ED shifts if desired for additional income.
• Dedicated nurse or MA for each physician
• No Critical Care or OB services at hospital

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive salary based on current year MGMA salary. Position is a salaried full-time position with no RVU component.
• Student loan repayment of $25,000 per year up to five years. Hospital and Clinics designated as healthcare shortage area. Eligible for additional physician student loan repayment from several grant programs including state and federal after one year.
• Residency stipend available including payment to assist with board exam expenses.
• Annual bonus opportunity of $20,000 based on productivity and quality measures.

• Option to live in Audubon County or commute from a larger community.
• Housing Allowance - $25,000 if home purchased in Audubon County within one year of beginning employment.
