This Non-Invasive Cardiologist role offers the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art medical facility, providing advanced cardiovascular care alongside a collaborative and dedicated team.
Facility Highlights:
- 140 inpatient beds.
- 12-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
- 8-bed radiology lounge.
- 3 cath labs with plans for a fourth.
- Epic EMR
- 24/7 intensivist coverage.
- Clinic is adjacent to the hospital for seamless transitions between inpatient and outpatient care.
- Newly renovated spaces with planned expansions.
Current Team:
- Four cardiologists (2 non-invasive, 2 interventional).
- Three Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
- Plans to recruit an Electrophysiologist for service expansion.
- Robust Referral Network:
- Over 20 primary care providers ensuring a steady stream of diverse cases.
Work Schedule:
- Standard 4.5-day workweek focused on a healthy work-life balance.
- Average of 20 patients per day in the clinic.
- Last patient scheduled at 4:15 PM for predictable, manageable days.
Hospital Rounding:
- 1 -2 days per week rounding on an average inpatient census of 5 patients.
- Rounding is followed by clinic appointments, ensuring a varied schedule.
Call Responsibilities:
- 1:6 call schedule, covering only one location.
- APPs provide weekend support to reduce physician burden.
Skills & Procedures Needed:
- TEEs, pacemaker/ICD management.
- EKGs, Holter monitors, cardiac stress tests.
- Echocardiograms and device management.
- Proficiency in vascular ultrasound and coronary CT angiography
