Job Details:

• Provide nursing care in Intermediate Intensive Care Unit (IICU) setting
• Maintain 1:3 patient ratio throughout all shifts
• Care for adult trauma, medical, surgical, and neurology patients requiring monitoring every 1-2 hours
• Work with patients including direct admissions, ICU transfers, and escalations from Rapid Response Teams
• Required to work 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period
• Must have at least 1 completed travel assignment and 2 years of RN experience
• Previous IICU/ICU experience with 1:3 acuity required
• First-time travelers accepted with 3 years critical care experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Must have active South Carolina or multistate license
• 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
• Proficiency required in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Must be skilled in titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Ventilator experience required
• Experience with special equipment including Hercules patient repositioners, ceiling lifts, and Airtaps
• Must be available to float to other units or campuses as needed based on census
• Pre-assignment testing and modules required within 48 hours of contract signing
• Orientation occurs every Monday
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
