MEDS is now an affiliate of Georgia Emergency Department Services, the largest democratic EM group in GA. MEDS is an independent, democratic/physician owned group, and services the ED contracts of Singing Rivers Health System (SRHS), which has been in operations for 50 years.

- Combined volume: 100k+ ED visits a year
- Combined IP rate: 12.5%
- Combined PPH: 2.2 (goal of 2 with increased staffing)
- Primary stroke/L3 trauma/STEMI center, SANE exam 24/7, crisis intervention program
- Specialties: general surgery, obstetrics/gyn, pediatrics, psychiatry, cardiology, gastro, ENT, critical care, endocrine, nephrology, neurology, orthopedics/spine, pulmonology, radiology, urology
- EMR: EPIC/dragon
- Shift length: 8h, 10h, and 12h
- Staffing model: combo of doc and APPs. APPs work collaboratively with docs managing lower acuity patients independently and co-manage moderate and higher acuity with the docs
