The Wound, Burn and Ostomy Nurse Practitioner provides specialized outpatient care focusing on wound management, including sharp debridement, biopsies, and biologic skin graft applications. They work within a multidisciplinary clinical team, managing up to 20 patients daily using EMR systems like Epic. This role requires board certification, an active state license, and strong wound care experience with scheduled shifts and no on-call duties.
Start Date: ASAP (targeting November 3 or 10 with emergency privileges for clean background)
Contract Length: 13 weeks with potential to extend
Coverage Type: Scheduled, No Call
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 7:30 AM 4:00 PM 0.8 FTE

Outpatient Wound Care Clinic
Support Staff: Physician and specialty clinical team
Patient Volume: Up to 20 patients/day, appointments every 20 minutes
Patient Population: All ages
EMR: Epic
Procedures: Sharp debridement, biopsies, biologic skin graft applications, and total contact casts
Skills Required: Wound care experience required

Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
