RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend schedule required
• 48-hour guarantees may be approved
• Floating required but rarely needed
• Patient ratio of 1:4-6 in 23-bed emergency department
• 2+ years of emergency room experience required
• Required certifications: NIHSS, SAMA or CPI, ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC
• Provide care to Emergency Room patients utilizing the Nursing Process
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment for safe patient care delivery
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Delegate patient care priorities and provide supervision of assigned personnel
• Work with Cerner EMR and Mindray Telemetry Monitoring systems
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Fingerprints required for all New Mexico travelers
• Blocked scheduling may be accommodated if same days are not required each week
