Opportunity to lead diverse inpatient, outpatient and forensic psychiatry across Western New York. BC Psychiatrist, permanent, full-time with mandatory call (one week every fourth week). Based ~50% inpatient at hospital, ~50% travel to sites across Cattaraugus County, NY; includes adult inpatient/consult-liaison, outpatient, child psychiatry, day treatment, substance abuse, forensic evaluations. - M.D. and NY license to practice psychiatry
- Board Certification in Psychiatry
- Completed general psychiatry residency
- Fellowship or accredited advanced training; familiarity with neuropsychological testing
- Eligible for H visa or US authorization
Full description
Seeking a BC Psychiatrist. Position involves:
-Adult inpatient and consultation-liaison psychiatry and supervision of ER evaluations
-General adult outpatient clinical services
-Child psychiatry
-Adult day treatment and substance abuse treatment.
-Will also provide court ordered forensic evaluations.
-Call is mandatory, one week every fourth week.
-Based in hospital approximately 50% of the time.
-Travel to other facilities within Cattaraugus County, NY, approximately 50% of time
REQUIREMENTS
-M.D and license to practice psychiatry in New York.
-Board Certification.
-Additional training such as an accredited fellowship and knowledge of Neuropsychological testing.
-Candidate would need to have completed at least a general psychiatry residency program.
