- Provider Type Needed: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - Anesthesiology
- Schedule: Most agency providers work 8- or 10-hour shifts; 12-, 16-, and 24-hour shifts available. Later shifts (3 p.m. – 11 p.m.) and weekend shifts are also available. A 40-hour guarantee is an option.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide anesthesia care for neuro, endoscopy, and radiology cases
- Manage limited pediatric cases, primarily standard procedures
- Float between two locations as needed, with notification provided the day prior to reassignment
- Supervised CRNA model (4:1 ratio); collaborate with physicians who typically perform their own blocks and regional anesthesia
- Independently place arterial lines
- Maintain a clean and safe anesthesia environment in accordance with facility policies
- Adhere to all required documentation and safety protocols
Additional Information
- Board certification in Anesthesiology required
- Active Michigan CRNA license required
- Clean background required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications through AHA required
- Preference given to providers seeking full-time assignments
