This position is for a Maternal-Fetal Medicine Physician at a specialized women's hospital in Lexington, KY, providing outpatient prenatal diagnostic and ultrasound services. The role involves performing procedures such as amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling, reading up to 600 ultrasound reports monthly, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Candidates must be fellowship trained, board certified or eligible, and possess relevant state licensure and certifications, with no call requirements and a Monday-Thursday schedule.

The facility features modern technology including EPIC/Viewpoint systems for ultrasound reporting and is supported by a dedicated team of healthcare professionals including sonographers, nursing staff, and administrative personnel.

Physician - Maternal Fetal Medicine
Job Details:
• Outpatient and consult Maternal Fetal Medicine physician position at Women's Hospital• Monday-Thursday schedule from 8am-5pm with 1.5 hour lunch and 30-45 minutes for charting• Read up to 600 ultrasound reports monthly• Perform prenatal diagnostic procedures including amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling• Conduct first trimester nuchal translucency assessment and ultrasonography• Work with a supportive team including clinic administrator, RN supervisor, CMA, receptionists, and 5 sonographers• No call requirements• Available for coverage January 14-March 3 (full weeks Monday-Thursday)• Must be fellowship trained in Maternal Fetal Medicine• Board Certification or Board Eligibility required• Clean malpractice history highly preferred• Current state license, BLS certification, and DEA registration required• Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system preferred• Note: Facility does not have diabetic educators or endocrinology support
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
