Opportunity:
RN - Tele Float Pool
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Float pool position covering multiple units including General MS-Tele, Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, and ED Observation
• Must float within 60-mile radius from zone center throughout Zone 3 facilities
• 6-9 weekend shifts required in a 6-week schedule
• May be placed in holiday rotation
• Nurse to patient ratios of 1:5-6 based on acuity
• Care for adult to geriatric population with various diagnoses including cardiac, neuro, ortho, oncology, renal, urology post-surgical, general surgery, gynecology, psych/detox, ENT, and general medicine patients
• Required to titrate heparin drips
• May float to ICU (low acuity holds), PCU/Stepdown, and MS-Tele units based on skillset
• 2 years of MS-Tele experience required, neuro experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS
• 1-2 day orientation with preceptor
• Any color scrubs acceptable
• Schedule created by leadership for 6-week periods
• Must submit time off requests prior to assignment start
• EPIC charting system
• Rare call or standby requirements for low census
• BSN not required but valid nursing license required
