Board certification must be obtained within 5 years of residency completion. Certification must be from the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or the American Osteopathic Board (AOB). Other certifications are not accepted. Licensure: Licensed in MO or through IMLC. Certifications: BLS: Yes ACLS: No ATLS: No ABLS: No PALS: No Preferred Candidate Profile: Must be comfortable treating both adult and pediatric patients (generally 6 months and up). Experience with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints) and reading EKGs and X-rays. Familiarity with EMR systems is essential; Epic training will be provided post-credentialing. Additional Information: EMR System: Epic Credentialing Timeframe: 90+ days, with a recommendation to plan for 120 days, especially for physicians with lengthy resumes. Centers Operating Hours: Monday to Friday: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. (12-hour shifts) Saturday and Sunday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (8-hour shifts) No overtime will be granted. Description/Other Details: Physicians will be working in a state-of-the-art urgent care clinic that includes lab and mobile X-ray facilities. Providers must be skilled in treating patients of all ages, from 6 months and up, for a wide range of urgent care needs. Responsibilities include performing minor procedures such as suturing, wound care, I&Ds, splinting, reading X-rays, and ECGs, as well as placing IVs. Collaboration with medical assistants, scribes, and radiology techs is required, though no RN/LPN support is available.
