- Other details: The facility which is trauma level 2 is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours and beeper calls if needed. There are an average of 10-15 patients per shift. This opportunity is for Hematology/Oncology coverage with an initial assignment starting 1/5/26 through 1/15/26, ending at 8:00 a.m. on 1/16/26, with ongoing coverage needs for approximately two consecutive weeks per month preferred. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional night and weekend calls included, though call volume is very light and handled primarily by phone. The practice is an employed, collegial group consisting of one physician and three advanced practice providers, with a 95% outpatient and 5% inpatient mix, an average daily patient volume of , and a strong support infrastructure that includes onsite genetic counseling, weekly tumor board, robust primary care relationships, a tumor registry, research support, and shared space with radiation oncology. The office operates with an RN-led rooming process, triage nurse support, and a highly structured clinic flow, while inpatient rounding is typically managed by APPs, with hospitalists handling admissions and oncology consultation as needed, making this a predominantly outpatient-focused role with strong clinical and operational support.
