RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 night shifts with 36 guaranteed hours weekly
• Weekend hours as required by facility
• Stand by for low census with 1 hour to report requirement
• Must have 2+ years ICU experience in an acute care hospital
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only
• Preferred certification: NIHSS
• Must float to any area of the facility
• Patient ratios: 2:1 ICU / 3:1 IMC (estimates not guarantees)
• Work with medical/surgical ICU patients including cardiac arrests, respiratory arrests, heart attacks, strokes, and various comorbidity exacerbations
• Equipment used includes Arctic sun, bear hugger, glidescope, Nicom, Ceribell, Lucas, SCDs
• Electronic medical record system: EPIC
• Unit has 13 ICU beds and 6 IMC beds
• Dress code requires black scrubs only - no denim, pleather, or leather allowed
• Must be a team player with strong work ethic
