About the Clinician's WorkdayThis Hematology/Oncology locum tenens opportunity is for a board-certified or board-eligible MD/DO who has completed a combined Hematology and Oncology fellowship. The position involves outpatient clinic coverage with 8-hour on-site shifts (8 AM-5 PM) and night call, ideally during the second week of each month for approximately 6+ months, starting as soon as credentialed (60-90 days). The practice uses EPIC EMR and treats adult patients only, with a 75% Hematology and 25% Oncology case mix. The provider should hold a KY license or be IMLC-eligible. Providers must be skilled in chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood transfusions, lumbar puncture, radiation, and ablation therapy; however, the facility does not treat acute leukemia or sickle cell patients.
