Emergency Medicine (Nocturnist) opening in Northern CaliforniaLocation: Northern CaliforniaCoverage Type: Permanent, Full-Time (Not Locums)Assignment/Call Details: Schedule: Night shifts only 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM 11:00 PM - 8:00 AM Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical hours Call: None Practice Setting: Inpatient Emergency Department ED Beds: 20 Admissions Required: No Hospital Stroke Certified: Yes Trauma Level: 3 EMR: Epic Credentialing Timeframe: 90-120 days Clinical Details: Permanent Emergency Medicine position focused on night coverage Supervision of Advanced Practice Providers required Resident/teaching supervision required Full-service Emergency Department with strong specialty backup, including: Anesthesia, Cath Lab, General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Radiology and Vascular Surgery Newborn deliveries may present through the ED Labor & Delivery department on site Skills Required: Broad-spectrum Emergency Medicine for adult and pediatric patients Ability to manage high-acuity and overnight ED presentations Comfort supervising APPs and working in a teaching environment Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications Active California license or willingness to obtain Clean malpractice and background history Willingness to work permanent night shifts Compensation & Benefits: Competitive employed compensation package: $270,000 to $480,000 Comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision) Retirement plan options Paid malpractice coverage Additional details shared during interview process Estimated pay range/amount is $270,000 to $480,000.
