- Perform non-invasive general cardiology procedures
- Manage chest pain and acute coronary syndrome cases
- Interpret EKGs and assist with diagnostic cardiac catheterization
- Administer IV medications and manage medication drips
- Conduct pre-procedure cardiac catheterization assessments
- Participate in treatment planning and interdisciplinary rounds
- Perform history and physical examinations
- Provide patient education and discharge instructions
- Write daily progress notes, discharge orders, and summaries
- Order and interpret imaging studies and laboratory work
- Manage pain and provide advanced care planning
- Assist in various medical procedures such as central line removal, drain removal, and Foley catheter insertion
- Participate in code situations and initiate CPR when necessary
- Utilize Allscripts electronic health record system
