Skills:
Required Skills & Experience:
-2 strong (recent) years of critical care and PACU exp required.
-Strong background in Telemetry.
-Must be tele certified.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
-3+ years PACU preferred.
Education:
Required Education:
-ASN.
Preferred Education:
-BSN.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
-BLS - AHA.
-NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
-ACLS-AHA
-PALS
-Telemetry
Schedule Notes: 9:00 AM-7:30 PM.40hours.13 weeks.4x10hrs shifts. No Weekends, No holidays, No on Call. Combined Procedural Unit (CPU) . Must have at least 1 year of experience in an acute hospital setting. Hybrid nurses able to work in the ICU, Preop and PACU area. Skills: PACU or ICU trained. Hackensack PACUs provide high level care similar to the SICU. When there are no ICU beds the PACU nurses provide care to ICU patient population, for an extended period of time.
