Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) night shift position requiring a NC or compact RN license and at least 2 years of recent stepdown or telemetry experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a progressive care stepdown transitional unit (IMCU) within a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week travel assignment
- Responsible for delivering intermediate level care to a diverse adult patient population
- Must adhere to hospital protocols and participate in interdisciplinary team care
- No references required at the time of consideration
- First-time travelers are eligible to apply
Requirements
- Active NC or compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in stepdown or telemetry units
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (RQI not accepted)
- COVID-19 vaccination card required
- Must provide Social Security Number and date of birth for consideration
- Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
- Cannot hold full-time employment elsewhere
- Permanent address must be at least 60 miles from the assignment facility
