Job Description
Join our team in the MedSurg Medical Stroke unit, where we provide care for patients dealing with a variety of conditions, including strokes, COPD, pneumonia, and abdominal pain, among others. Our unit typically sees a daily census of 26 to 28 patients with a flexible capacity of up to 35 beds. Experience with TPA and lower-level stroke interventions is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the MedSurg unit.
- Utilize EPIC for charting and documentation.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- BLS certification (American Heart Association).
- Must have an unexpired nursing license.
- Experience in a MedSurg or Stroke unit is highly preferred.
- Previous travel experience is a plus.
