Responsibilities include bronchoscopy, inpatient care, night call coverage, ICU consults, and performing various pediatric procedures. The role requires valid Pennsylvania medical licensure, DEA license, and pediatric critical care certifications with preferred experience in ventilation management and invasive procedures.

The institution provides advanced pediatric pulmonology care with dedicated inpatient and outpatient services, including specialized bronchoscopy capabilities and comprehensive support for pediatric respiratory conditions.
Opportunity:
Board Certified - Pediatric Pulmonology
Job Details:
• One week per month commitment with combined inpatient, bronchoscopy, outpatient services, and call coverage
• Provide both day (inpatient) and night call coverage during assigned weeks
• Approximately 4 phone consults per day
• May involve ICU consults, though not exclusively ICU-focused
• Must be BE/BC in Pediatric Pulmonology
• Must hold or be eligible for an unrestricted and unchallenged license to practice medicine in Pennsylvania
• Valid DEA Licensure required
• ACLS and PALS certifications required
• Experience with various pediatric ventilation management (acute and chronic) preferred
• Skills in intubation, conscious and deep sedation, central line placement, and various procedures preferred
• Experience with arterial lines, lumbar puncture, paracentesis, thoracentesis preferred
• Must have ACTIVE Pennsylvania license as the need is immediate
• Estimated credentialing timeframe: 90 days
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
