Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg RN with at least one year of recent specialty experience and an active TX or compact license for a 13-week day shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in a hospital setting on the 3 East Ortho/Overflow Neuro unit
• Patient population includes orthopedic and neurological overflow cases
• Day shift, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, 12-hour shifts
• 13-week contract assignment
• Provide care for orthopedic and neurological patients on a med/surg unit
• Document patient care and outcomes in accordance with hospital protocols
• Appropriate documentation and verification required prior to start
• Travelers must provide complete professional profiles including licensure and certification copies

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent Med/Surg RN experience
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC with no expiration within the first 30 days of assignment
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• No gaps of 90 days or more in work history over the past 12 months
