• Coverage Type: Clinical Only
• Coverage Period: July 1, 2025 August 31, 2025 (Potential to extend)
• Clinical Shift Schedule: 24-hour shifts, 7:00 PM 7:00 AM (preferred); 12-hour shifts may be considered

• Patient Volume/Census: NICU patients
• Admissions: Yes
• Rounding: Included
• Case Mix: Level 3 NICU, High Frequency Ventilation, Nitric Oxide, Simple Surgeries (e.g., hernia repair)
FACILITY INFORMATION
• EMR System: Cerner
• Specialty Backup Available: Two neonatologists during the day, one at night
• Support Staff Available: Neonatologists, nursing staff
• Reason for Coverage: Scheduled locum support

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Active MD license or IMLC
• NRP
• Level 3 NICU experience within the past three years
• Pediatric Hospitalist experience in NICU setting
• Board Certification: Neonatology
• Other Qualifications: Proficiency with Cerner EMR
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide inpatient care to neonates in a Level 3 NICU setting
• Perform neonatal procedures including intubation and placement of umbilical lines
• Collaborate with neonatology team to ensure continuity of care
• Document clinical activities using Cerner EMR
• Participate in simple neonatal surgical procedures as required
