Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an RN for a long-term care position in Massachusetts requiring an active MA RN license and BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Work in a long-term care unit within a hospital-affiliated setting
- Schedule consists of 40 hours per week with a mix of days and evenings, including two 12-hour shifts and two 8-hour shifts
- EPIC is used for charting and documentation
- Shared housing is available for travelers
- Responsibilities include providing nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting
- Must wear appropriate attire as specified by the facility's dress code
- Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston to be eligible for standard travel rates
- Parking may not be validated and could require use of public transportation or paid lots
- Holiday coverage and weekend shifts may be required based on unit needs
Requirements
- Active, unencumbered MA RN license required at the time of consideration (no pending or conditional licenses)
- Current AHA BLS certification is required
- COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required with no exemptions allowed
- Must provide primary source verification of professional licensure
- Ability to commute with own transportation is required
