Our program maintains strong academic affiliations with Tampa General Hospital and the University of South Florida (USF) Morsani College of Medicine, located in the vibrant Tampa Bay region. We place strong emphasis on providing world-class inpatient and outpatient clinical care while remaining actively engaged in clinical trials and translational basic science research. We welcome clinician scientists and candidates interested in clinical excellence and in opportunities to collaborate with our affiliated academic partners when available.
Required Qualifications
- MD degree
- Completion of a hematology fellowship
- Training and/or clinical experience in benign and/or malignant hematology. New graduates are welcome to apply!
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated commitment to clinical teaching, clinical research, and patient care in hematology
- Experience in benign hematology is preferred
- Nationally or internationally recognized clinical trial experience is a plus
- Experience with extramural grants, clinical research collaborations, and/or training programs is ideal
Certifications
- Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Florida
- Must be board certified or eligible for certification by the ABIM in Hematology
