Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with at least 2 years of recent MRI experience and ARRT and BLS certifications.
Responsibilities
- Evening shifts from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, Monday through Friday
- No holiday, weekend, or on-call requirements
- Position based in a hospital MRI department
- Involves operating advanced MRI equipment and administering contrast materials
- Uses Siemens MRI technology and equipment
- Adult patient population
- Duties include preparing the scan room, patient preparation, and proper positioning for imaging
- Responsible for administering oral and IV contrast as indicated and screening for contraindications
- Handle documentation, assure image orientation, and maintain records for radiologist
- Scrubs or professional attire required
- No local candidates allowed per 50-mile radius rule
- A maximum of 5 days of requested time off is permitted
- First-time travelers may be considered
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent MRI technologist experience
- Current ARRT and BLS (AHA) certifications required
- Proficiency with Siemens MRI systems is required
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- License required if applicable
