Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Physician to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced emergency setting. The physician will evaluate, stabilize, and manage patients with acute medical and traumatic conditions, ensuring timely and effective treatment while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and treat patients presenting with a wide range of acute medical, surgical, and traumatic conditions.
Perform emergency procedures, resuscitations, and stabilize critically ill or injured patients.
Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic tests including labs, imaging, and EKGs.
Collaborate with specialists, hospitalists, and other healthcare providers for patient care coordination.
Provide timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, follow-up care, and preventive health measures.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, patient safety programs, and continuing education activities.
Qualifications:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine.
Valid medical license to practice in State .
Strong clinical and procedural skills in acute and emergency care.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Working Conditions:
Hospital-based emergency department.
May require shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Exposure to high-acuity and critical care cases.
