A physician-led group is seeking board-certified or eligible emergency medicine physicians for part-time and full-time positions in rural Northern California emergency departments. The role offers flexible scheduling, competitive hourly pay with benefits, loan forgiveness, and opportunities for partnership and teaching. The group emphasizes community service, supportive work culture, and access to local lifestyle amenities.
Independent, physician-led and owned, democratic group, looking for part-time and full-time, BE/BC Emergency Medicine physicians to join our group.
- We staff 5 emergency departments in Mendocino, Lake, and Napa Counties
- We serve mostly rural communities and our sites tend to be high acuity.
-We care for a diverse, underserved, rural patient population, some traveling several hours to reach an emergency department.
-Our group is mission-driven with strong ties to the local community.
- Cerner (Epic in a couple years)
-8-12 hour shifts depending on site with one site with 24 hour shifts.
Compensation is competitive:
- Signing bonus for FT: 25K
- Hourly pay is $230 - $290/hrdependingon the site
PLUS Approx $50/hr in benefits for FT employees/partners
PLUS Major holiday incentive pay
- Benefits: generous profit sharing 401(k) plan, $8500CME budget, paid sick days, group health, dental, vision, and life insurance
- PAID parental leave, no wait time
- Flexible W2 or 1099 tracks available
- Partner track is 2yrs and transparent for all
- Loan forgiveness worth more than $100,000 from the state due to our underserved location
- Scheduling: Flexible, block scheduling. Few, if any, nights.
- Housing available for those traveling
- Rotating FM residents: opportunities to teach, if interested
- Supportive and fun work environment with thoughtful & kind consultants and motivated nursing
- Social work, care coordination and substance use navigator in the ED
- 24/7 psych/behavioral health services
- Stable contract. We have a great relationship with our hospital system. Our physicians are leaders within the hospital and are represented on almost every hospital committee.
- Northern California living offers a plethora of outdoor activities, wilderness, skiing, world-class wine while still having all the conveniences and offerings of large urban centers within an easy 1-2hr drive.
- Were a fun, collegial group of people. Our group has a strong relationship
with hospital administration and were currently looking for new partners due to the expansion of sites in recent years.
