Assignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule / Shift12-hour day shifts from 0700 to 1930. On-call once every 3rd to 4th weekend, with one night of call required per week. Expectation to work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse specializing in Surgical Services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for circulating in the OR, with scrub experience preferred. Nurses must have a strong background in managing diverse surgical cases.
Responsibilities- Circulate and manage patient care in the operating room.
- Assist with IV starts and patient transport as necessary.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years in the operating room specialty.
- Current New York State nursing license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications preferred.
- Experience with EPIC documentation system is mandatory, within the past 2 years.
