Reason for Need: Coverage gaps
You ll manage Neuro-Trauma ICU and emergency neurosurgical patients involving:
Brain, neck, and spine surgeries
Low/moderate-risk procedures (e.g., laceration repair, IV access, minor reductions)
High-risk procedures including:
G-tube placement
Intubation
Cardioversion/defibrillation
LMA
Paracentesis
Chest tubes
Central & arterial lines
Average patient load: ICU patients/day
Required Qualifications Current ANCC/AANP NP board certification
Active state license
ACLS, DEA required
ATLS preferred (but not required; strong neuro-trauma experience accepted)
Clean malpractice history
Availability at time of name clear
