Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an inpatient rehab position in Massachusetts requiring an active MA RN license and AHA BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Inpatient rehabilitation setting within SCC Nursing unit
- Rehab patient population with diverse diagnoses
- 12-hour day shifts from 07:00 to 19:30
- 13-week assignment duration
- Uses Epic EMR for charting
- Responsibilities include care planning, medication administration, monitoring patient conditions, and updating records
- Member of a multidisciplinary care team coordinating patient care
- Flu vaccination required with no medical or religious exemptions permitted
- Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from facility to qualify for standard travel rate; those living closer will have adjusted rates
- Parking at the facility may require payment; public transportation and parking lots are available
- Requires maintaining accurate documentation and participating in quality assurance activities
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted MA RN license required at time of consideration (no conditional licenses accepted)
- Minimum of 2 years RN experience in an acute or rehab inpatient setting
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
- Experience with Epic EMR is preferred
