Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Technologist for a Cardiac Cath Lab assignment requiring at least 2 years of specialty experience and EPIC EMR proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Position is in a cardiac catheterization lab setting
- Rotating 4x10 hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with call required
- 13-week contract assignment
- EMR is Epic; training provided during orientation or proficiency testing available
- Must participate in call coverage as scheduled
- A minimum of 2 major holidays must be worked during the assignment
- No local candidates; must reside at least 60 miles from the facility
- No blocked scheduling allowed
- A 13-week break is required for returning travelers after contract completion
- Requested time off must be submitted at time of consideration; missed time will not be added to the end of the contract
- KRONOS is used for timekeeping
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of cath lab or interventional technologist experience required
- Active license required if applicable
- Certifications must be American Heart Association (AHA) approved
- Experience with Epic EMR is required or candidate must be willing to train during orientation
