Position Overview:
As a Pediatrician specializing in inpatient care, you will be responsible for rounding, managing admissions, and delivering top-quality medical services to pediatric patients. Your role will involve working within a multidisciplinary team, utilizing Meditech EMR, and providing care across a variety of cases. This position offers 24-hour call coverage, with the support of dedicated pediatric nursing staff, ensuring comprehensive patient management. With a focus on scheduling needs, this role provides a fulfilling and stable work environment where your skills are truly valued.
Required Skills:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
- Proven experience in inpatient pediatric care
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency with Meditech EMR system
- Ability to work 24-hour call shifts effectively
- Commitment to high standards of patient care and safety
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in pediatric rounding and admissions management
- Knowledge of pediatric protocols and procedures
- Bilingual abilities or additional languages
- Previous experience in hospital-based settings
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Doctorate of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) with specialization in Pediatrics
- At least 2 years of inpatient pediatric experience preferred
Other Requirements:
- Valid medical license and appropriate certifications
- Temp privileges granted if necessary
- Ability to work flexible scheduling, including any potential shifts as required
- Travel or license reimbursement when applicable
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00 (all-inclusive, top $2,700 monthly)
