Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a travel position requiring an active KY or compact RN license and recent specialty experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital operating room setting
- Department is Surgery, First Floor
- Day shifts from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm
- 13-week assignment
- Patient care involves perioperative nursing responsibilities
- No local travelers; candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility
- Orientation is provided onsite and includes completion of necessary hospital modules
- All applicants must be prepared to submit required credentials, including copies of all applicable certifications
- Standard hospital dress code and PPE protocols apply
Requirements
- Active KY or compact RN license with no disciplinary actions
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience required
- Certifications required: American Heart Association (AHA) BLS and ACLS, valid through the assignment
- Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required at time of consideration
- Completion of CPI training is required and can be completed onsite
- Must be fully vaccinated against Flu and COVID-19
- Must have a valid US Social Security Number (no Canadian SSNs accepted)
- Gaps in work history of 3 months or more require an explanation
