Salary Range:NegotiableUnited StatesPhysicianContractPosition Overview:JR Enterprise, LLC is seeking qualified Emergency Medicine Physicians on behalf of a Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) medical facility. This role involves providing high-quality, compassionate emergency medical care to Veterans in a fast-paced, 24/7 Emergency Department setting.The selected physician will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary clinical and administrative teams to evaluate, treat, and manage patients requiring acute medical and specialty care. This position requires strong clinical judgment, the ability to perform emergent procedures, and a commitment to excellence in patient care, quality assurance, and continuous medical education.Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive emergency medical care including patient intake, assessment, history, physical examinations, diagnosis, treatment, and dispositionPerform emergent resuscitation, airway management, invasive procedures, and interpret ECGs and selected radiographic studies within credentialed scopeOrder and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic tests and initiate consults and referrals as appropriateAdmit patients to the hospital or discharge from the Emergency Department with appropriate follow-up and medication reconciliationCoordinate patient care with primary care providers, specialists, nursing staff, and mid-level providersPrescribe medications and supplies in accordance with VA policy, VA formulary, and applicable state regulationsParticipate in quality assurance activities, chart reviews, performance improvement initiatives, and physician staff meetingsProvide physician oversight to nursing and mid-level staffMaintain compliance with facility requirements, licensing standards, and continuing medical education (CME)Required Qualifications:U.S. Citizenship (non-citizens considered only when qualified citizens are unavailable, per VA policy)MD or DO degree from a VA-approved medical schoolCurrent, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a U.S. state, territory, commonwealth, or the District of ColumbiaCompletion of VA-approved residency training in an accredited core specialty leading to board eligibilityACGME-approved, AOA-approved, or approved non-U.S. residency with a minimum of five years of verified U.S. practiceBoard Certified or Board Eligible.Compensation & Benefits:NegotiableSkills And Competencies:Advanced clinical assessment and decision-making in emergency care settingsAbility to manage high-acuity, high-volume patient populationsExpertise in emergent resuscitation and critical care stabilizationProficiency in airway management and invasive emergency proceduresStrong diagnostic and interpretive skills, including ECG and radiographic interpretationEffective coordination of care with multidisciplinary clinical teamsAbility to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced, 24/7 Emergency Department environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of VA policies, clinical protocols, and regulatory standardsData Protection & Privacy:JR Enterprise, LLC collects personal information provided by applicants solely for recruitment purposes.
