Schedule

Shift: 06:45 AM - 05:15 PM. 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts available. Call required one night a week and a half weekend every 8 weeks. Weekend shifts are 48 hours and half weekends are 24 hours.

Job Description

The Operating Room (OR) Surgical Nurse will provide patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in various surgical specialties, including Ortho trauma, Crani procedures, Robotic general surgeries, and more. Proficiency with DaVinci robots is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in a range of surgical procedures including cystoscopy, lumbar laminectomy, total joints, and robotic surgeries.
• Provide direct patient care and maintain patient safety in the OR.
• Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to ensure high standards of care.
• Utilize advanced surgical equipment and technology.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have 2+ years of experience as a Surgical Nurse.
• Experience in a level II or higher surgical facility.
• Proficient in Ortho trauma, Crani procedures, Burr holes, Robotic general surgeries, Cystoscopy, ENT, and Total Joints.
• Current BLS certification required.
