Thoracic Surgeon (Charlotte, NC)
Novant Health Cancer Institute is seeking a Full-time board-eligible/board-certified Thoracic Surgeon to join their team in Charlotte, NC. Candidates should be fellowship trained in Thoracic Surgery, with a focus in minimally invasive and robotic procedures. Opportunity Highlights:
- Established, comprehensive Integrated Network Cancer Program, located in beautiful Charlotte, North Carolina
- The Thoracic program includes lung cancer screening, a lung nodule clinic, and multidisciplinary care involving surgery, radiation, and medical oncology.
- Team of 12 Providers in both cardiac and thoracic service lines: 4 physicians & 8 APPs
- Our comprehensive cancer program is designed to promote disease sub-specialization and foster collaborative, multi-disciplined team-based care.
- The role offers the opportunity to participate in clinical research.
- Teaching opportunities available through our clinical affiliation with UNC-Chapel Hill, working with UNC medical students
- Engage in a weekly multi-disciplinary cancer conference to support patient-centered care
- Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support available in both the clinic and operating room
- Call duties are shared with the Cardio-Thoracic Team, rotating every 3 – 4 days and weekends.
- The Charlotte Region is a division of Novant Health Cancer Institute. The institute includes over 100 specialists in 30+ locations across the state of NC.
