Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist specializing in outpatient pelvic health with at least one year of experience and an active IL license.
Responsibilities
- Outpatient physical therapy setting focusing on pelvic health
- Treats both male and female pelvic floor patients
- Critical access, Magnet-designated facility with 25 total beds
- Schedule is Monday through Friday, day shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- No weekend or on-call requirements
- No floating required within the facility for this position
- Uses Cerner EMR; Cerner experience is preferred
- Main duties include evaluating and treating outpatient pelvic floor patients
- Business casual attire or plain solid scrubs are acceptable
- Initial training modules completed virtually on first day
- Teamwork emphasized in a small critical access hospital environment
- First-time travelers are welcome
- No restrictions on local candidates
- No holiday shifts required except candidates must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
- No more than 5 days of requested time off is preferred during assignment
- Must not have been a perm or PRN employee within the last 12 months
- Free parking available in unrestricted spaces
Requirements
- Active IL PT license required for consideration
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent relevant pelvic health physical therapy experience required
- Must arrive in IL 3 business days prior to compliance deadline for fingerprinting
