Assists the physician and office staff with performance of patient care activities consistent with the established standards of nursing practice. Qualifications:
Medical Assistant Qualifications:
· Education: High school diploma or GED
· Certification: Must obtain BLS Certification within 90 days of hire.
· Preferred Experience: 6 months of clinical healthcare experience.
Certified Medical Assistant Qualifications:
· Education: High school diploma or GED
· Certification: Must have active Medical Assistant Certification/registrations (RMA, CCMA, CMA)Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days.
