As a Gastroenterology physician, you will play a pivotal role in diagnosing and treating digestive disorders. Your expertise in performing endoscopic procedures will be essential in providing comprehensive care to our patients.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Perform a wide range of endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopies, sigmoidoscopies, and esophageal manometries.
- Interpret diagnostic tests and provide clear and concise explanations to patients.
- Collaborate with primary care physicians and other specialists to ensure coordinated patient care.
Practice Details:
- Outpatient-focused practice with a steady stream of referrals.
- Convenient Monday-Friday schedule with no weekend or on-call requirements.
- Utilize the EPIC electronic health record system for efficient documentation.
- Supportive administrative and clinical staff to assist with patient care.
- Located within a Level I trauma center for added patient access.
Ideal Candidate:
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
- Active or ability to obtain Illinois medical license.
- Proven expertise in performing endoscopic procedures.
- Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
