Position Overview

HumanEdge is seeking an experienced Travel ED RN to provide high-quality care in a busy emergency department in Clarksville, Tennessee. This role is ideal for nurses skilled in triage, emergency interventions, and acute patient management, delivering safe and efficient care during mid-shift hours.

Unit & Facility Details

• Unit Type: Emergency Department

• Beds: 44

• Patient Ratio: 1:5

• EMR: Cerner

Responsibilities

• Provide direct emergency care including triage, assessment, and interventions

• Administer medications, IV therapies, and perform procedures according to protocols

• Implement and follow ACLS, PALS, and NIH protocols

• Respond to emergency situations and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team

• Document all patient care accurately in Cerner EMR

• Delegate tasks and supervise ancillary staff as needed

Requirements

• Active TN RN license or multistate/compact license – Required

• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH (ARC/AHA) – Required

• Minimum 1 year ED experience – Required; 2 years preferred

• Strong assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills

• Ability to work every other weekend and every other holiday as needed
