Job Description

As a Security Officer - Armed Financial Center in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer, where you will monitor and patrol financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind for clients and visitors. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at financial institution locations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter potential threats or suspicious activities.
Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal management and local law enforcement as needed.
Document incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with company and client protocols.
Assist employees, visitors, and/or customers with directions, information, and security-related concerns as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
