Evening shifts from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM and 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with some Saturdays required. Holiday and weekend availability is necessary.

Job Description

The PACU Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). Candidates must possess critical care skills and be comfortable managing patients of all ages, including pediatrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care to patients in the PACU
• Monitor patient vital signs and perform cardiac monitoring
• Administer medications and titrate multiple drips as necessary
• Manage critical care equipment including art lines
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2-5 years of critical care PACU experience
• Experience in a large, teaching facility
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• EPIC experience within the past 2 years (non-negotiable)
