The Radiologic Technologist acts in a professional manner, responds to patient needs, and supports colleagues and associates in providing quality patient care. The Radiological Technologist uses equipment and accessories, employs techniques and procedures, performs services in accordance with an accepted standard of practice, and demonstrates expertise in minimizing radiation exposure to the patient, self, and other members of the healthcare team.The Senior Radiologic Technologist performs daily rounds in all areas of responsibility and assists management in developing performance metrics for continuous monitoring of core department processes. Required Experience
- Certificate from CRT
- Fluoroscopy permit
- ARRT must be obtain within 12 months of date hired
- CPR/BLS - Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association
- 7 years experience in an acute hospital setting
- 4 years experience in a lead technologist role.
- 4 years experience as a preceptor for diagnostic radiology.
- Experience with digital imaging
- Experience with PACS,SRIS, and eMD.
