We are seeking an experienced Neonatology Nurse Practitioner for a 30-day locum tenens assignment in Tennessee. This opportunity begins on Mar 23, 2026, and offers a flexible schedule with a minimum of 40 hours per week in a busy NICU. The unit operates seven days a week, providing care to a high census of neonates and complex surgical cases. Candidates must have at least three years of NICU experience and the required certifications.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage and provide care for neonates in a 60-bed NICU
- Participate in care for surgical cases
- Collaborate with two NNP teams and one resident fellow team
- Assume responsibility for assigned patient load (currently 59 babies in unit)
- Work alongside other NNPs and support staff to ensure optimal neonatal care
- Respond to emergent situations requiring advanced neonatal resuscitation
- Adhere to clinical protocols and best practices in neonatology
Additional Information
- Minimum of 3 years NICU experience required
- Must have current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
- Board certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) required
- Current Tennessee license or eligibility to obtain prior to start
