Job Details:
- Practice Setting: Hospital/Call
- Reason for Coverage: Short staffed
- Total Number of Beds: 8
- No Other OB/GYNs Provide Coverage During Locums Coverage Dates
- Onsite Labs & Ultrasound
- Office Equipment: Hospital Labor and Delivery
- Low Volume of C-Section Patients
- Average Number of Nursery Admissions Per Day: Varies, usually under 10
- Delivery Volume: 100 births last year
- Nursery Level: II
- Documentation System/EMR: Epic
- Strong Midwife Program, and They Take First Call. Physicians Must Be Midwife Friendly
Required Procedures/Duties:
- Routine Delivery Vaginal, Low Forceps
- Decision-Making for C-Section
- Complicated Delivery C-Section, Breech, Multiple Births, Abruptions, etc.
- VBACs
- Repair of 3rd & 4th Degree Lacerations
