Emerald Coast Behavioral Hospital in Panama City, Florida is recruiting PRN Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioners to join their team for weekends, vacation, and holiday coverage.
Emerald Coast Behavioral Hospital is a Joint Commission -accredited psychiatric hospital. Located in the heart of beautiful Panama City, Florida, Emerald Coast Behavioral Hospital provides mental health services to children, adolescents, adults, active-duty service members and their families and veterans.
Position Highlights/Duties:
- The APRN oversees the quality of care delivered to assigned patients according to the established protocols between supervising physician(s). Conducts medical assessments, medical diagnoses, medication management, and treatment planning. Demonstrates strong communication skills, fostering collaborative relationships with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Requirements:
- Master s degree in nursing from a recognized school of nursing.
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner/APRN in the State of Florida.
- Board Certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC).
- Current National DEA
- Local candidate preferred.
