A hospital-based facility in Michigan is seeking a Board-Certified Neurosurgeon for locum coverage to provide 24-hour call, inpatient rounding, and admissions. The physician must be comfortable performing both spinal and cranial procedures.

Assignment Details

• Coverage Type: 24-hour call (8:00 AM 8:00 AM)

• Setting: Hospital-based

• Scope: Emergent call, emergent surgeries, daily inpatient rounding

• Patient Volume: Approx. 5 10 inpatients per day

• EMR: Cerner

Facility Support

• Imaging, lab, procedure rooms, and OR all on site

• Neurosurgery APPs in clinic

• Additional spine support available

Travel & Expenses

• Flight, car, fuel, mileage, and hotel covered

• Hotel cap: $150/night (including taxes)

• No reimbursement for Med Staff Fees

• No lodging booked through third-party sites

• Facility is tax-exempt; lodging taxes not reimbursed

• Reverse invoicing via Doctime (no paper timesheets)

Submission Requirements (Required No Exceptions)

• Board Certified Neurosurgeon (no BE)

• ACLS

• Active Michigan license (IMLC accepted with 100% clean background)

• Clean background (minimum malpractice acceptable)

• Fellowship completed with 2 3+ years of experience

• Must perform both spinal and cranial procedures
